End 2008, together with my dear friend Nel I founded Jazz&More. We both love to sing, love jazz and jazzy tunes and decided it was time to start making some music together. We asked musicians we knew to join the band and before we knew it we had built a repertoire of about 50 songs, Jazz Standards, Easy Listening top hits and some heavier welknown popsongs . Unfortunately, Nel had to leave the band in summer 2009 due to health reasons, but was replaced by male vocalist Nico Veenendaal. And whenever we perform, you can be sure that Nel will show up to support us and sing a couple of songs!
Making music with the band then inspired me to finally try to get the tunes I have had in my head all my life written down. As long as I can remember I have been singing my own words and melodies, but never had actually done something with that. You can read more in the about section.
The songs kept coming out and new ones were born. On these pages you can find examples of my work, all home recorded demo's. I am currently fundraising on Sellaband, so that with help of my fans (called believers on Sellaband) I can reach my target of $15000 to record a professional CD and replace the electronic instruments with music played by real musicians. There are also other ways to support me, if you click in the top menu on "Prebuy CD" you will find more information!
